When is the FA Cup quarter-final draw? Date, time and how to follow as final eight find out opponents en route to Wembley

The FA Cup quarter-finals will take place in March as teams continue their journey to Wembley in the search of silverware. 

Holders Liverpool are already out meaning there will be a new winner of the competition this season.

The FA Cup quarter-final draw will take place in March

Premier League giants Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham all remain in the tournament as they play for a place in the quarters.

League Two Grimsby and League One Fleetwood are also both still in with a chance of reaching the next round.

With the fifth round fixtures taking place this week, we’ll found out which teams make it to the final eight.

When is the FA Cup quarter-final draw?

The FA Cup quarter-final draw will take place on Wednesday, March 1.

It will be broadcast live on BBC One at around 10:30pm, following the conclusion of Sheffiled United’s match against Tottenham.

Once the fixtures are determined, the ties will take place over the weekend of Saturday, March 18.

FA Cup fifth round fixtures

The team’s remaining in the competition will drop down to eight this week as fifth round fixtures take place.

Tuesday, February 28

  • Stoke City 0-1 Brighton
  • Leicester 1-2 Blackburn
  • Fulham 2-0 Leeds
  • Bristol City 0-3 Manchester City

Wednesday, March 1

  • Southampton vs Grimsby, 19:15
