Tottenham sign Dejan Kulusevski from Juventus – 101 Great Goals
Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur have, on Saturday, unveiled their first signing of the summer.
The player set to line out for Ange Postecoglou’s troops next season? Dejan Kulusevski.
Wide-man Kulusevski, of course, has spent the last 18 months lining out in Spurs colours.
This comes after the Swedish international was granted a pricey loan departure from Serie A heavyweights Juventus.
‘Kulu’, since, has gone on to notch 57 appearances in the colours of the Lilywhites, albeit with his form this past season having not quite hit the heights of his scintillating first half-term in north London.
Nevertheless, the 23-year-old, evidently, did enough to convince Daniel Levy and the powers that be at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium of his credentials as a long-term piece in the puzzle under the watch of incoming boss Postecoglou.
In turn, on Saturday, Kulusevski’s Spurs switch, as expected, has been made a permanent one.
After Levy managed to negotiate a €5 million discount on the initial €35 million purchase clause included in the club’s loan agreement with Juventus, Tottenham took to social media, to announce:
‘We are delighted to announce the permanent signing of Dejan Kulusevski from Juventus.’
