Tottenham owner ready to sell Kane if he does not sign new contract
Levy to be overruled on Kane
Daniel Levy has been instructed by Tottenham owner Joe Lewis to sell Harry Kane if he does not sign a new deal.
“Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has been told he must sell Harry Kane if he cannot persuade the England captain to sign a new contract,” the Telegraph writes.
“Spurs owner Joe Lewis is understood to have informed Levy he is unprepared to let Kane run down his contract and leave as a free agent next summer.
“Sources have indicated that if Levy cannot convince the striker to extend his deal, Lewis will expect the club to sell rather than forgo a huge fee, with Tottenham valuing Kane at around £100 million, if not more.
“Bayern Munich are preparing a third offer for Kane and do not believe the striker wants to sign a new contract with Tottenham, who are thought to be willing to pay him as much as £400,000 a week to stay.”
Chelsea make Olise offer
Chelsea are attempting to sign Crystal Palace’s France Under-21 international Michael Olise, according to the Mirror.
The paper writes: “Chelsea have made an offer to sign Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise this summer.
“Mauricio Pochettino is keen to add another attacker to his squad following the departures of Mason Mount, Kai Havertz, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Christian Pulisic. Romelu Lukaku and Hakim Ziyech are also both expected to leave The Blues, while Joao Felix has returned to Atletico Madrid after his loan spell ended.
“Having already signed Nicolas Jackson, Christopher Nkunku and Angelo to beef up his attacking options, Pochettino is now plotting a move for Palace star Olise.
“Chelsea have made a bid of less than £39 million for the France Under-21 international, who is said to be ‘seduced in the project’ at Stamford Bridge.
“Pochettino is a huge admirer of Olise and has already spoken to him about a potential move this summer. Despite already having Noni Madueke, Angelo, Ziyech and Raheem Sterling as senior right-wingers currently in the squad, Pochettino is ready to add another in Olise.”
Hudson-Odoi set for Lazio switch
Lazio are close to signing Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi, with the youngster set to be part of the Stamford Bridge squad overhaul.
“Callum Hudson-Odoi is ready to move to Italy and has agreed personal terms with Lazio,” the Mail reports.
“Lazio are progressing well in negotiations with Chelsea, and manager Maurizio Sarri is keen to work with the 22-year-old as soon as possible.
“The Ghanaian midfielder is back with The Blues after a season-long loan with Bayer Leverkusen, where he played 21 games, scoring one goal against Atletico Madrid in Europe.
“His arrival would be a huge plus for Sarri, who has wanted attacking reinforcements with a bid for Domenico Berardi failing.
“The young Chelsea star could arrive in Serie A on loan with an obligation to buy for around £11.2 million, including bonuses.”
Fulham in the hunt for Gray
WIth the arrival of Arnaut Danjuma at Everton, Fulham are looking to land Demarai Gray from the club ahead of the new season.
The Sun claims: “Fulham are willing to pay £7 million for Demarai Gray as Everton look to cash in on the new Jamaica international.
“Winger Gray, 27, is rated at £10m by The Toffees.
“However, Arnaut Danjuma’s Goodison loan arrival from Villarreal will fill the gap.
“Danjuma, 26, joined Spurs on loan in the second half of the Premier League season after they hijacked Everton’s attempt to secure the Dutch winger’s signature.”
