While they currently sit in the relegation zone after their first two matches of the campaign, Foster has provided a bright spark for the team, having scored their only goal so far.
The South African scored with a wonderful volley from inside the box in 47th minute against the Villans, but that was not enough for Burnley to claim a point from the match, with the Clarets having now lost their opening two games of the season in each of their past three Premier League campaigns.

After the tie, Kompany admitted that while he was happy with Foster’s performance, he is anxiously waiting wait for his club’s first win back in the English top flight.
“We cannot forget [Foster’s] age, he is still fairly young. But he is just continuing what we’ve seen in the entire pre-season,” he told Burnley’s media department, per Goal.
“He has the speed to run in behind. He’s strong to hold the ball up.
“In addition, he’s able to combine with his teammates and is able to score a goal as well.
“For him, we’re obviously really pleased. But for the team, the reward will be the first time we win a game.”
