Manchester United reject bid from Premier League rivals Fulham for midfielder Scott McTominay
Manchester United have rejected a bid from Fulham for Scott McTominay, talkSPORT understands.
A product of the Red Devils’ academy, McTominay has established himself as a regular player for the first team in recent seasons.
The Scotland international was the subject of transfer interest from West Ham last year, but he remained at Old Trafford.
Fulham have made steps to try and bring him to west London for next season, but have seen an offer rejected by United.
It is understood that the offer was below that of the £30million proposal made by West Ham in the previous summer window.
talkSPORT reported Fulham’s interest in McTominay earlier this week as they look to replace Joao Palhinha, who has joined Bayern Munich.

United would be prepared to sell the 27-year-old, who has entered the final year of his deal at the club, for the right price.
McTominay has made 252 appearances across all competitions for United, scoring 29 goals and assisting another eight.
He made only 18 Premier League starts last season, but featured in the entirety of their FA Cup winning run, including the final against rivals Manchester City.
The midfielder is also of interest to Galatasaray after their vice-chairman Ibrahim Hatipoglu said: “McTominay’s transfer fee is being discussed.”
United’s summer transfer window recently sparked into life when they announced the signing of Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna.
They also look set to sign centre-back Leny Yoro after Lille accepted a £52million bid for the 18-year-old.
