Manchester City vs Chelsea LIVE: Pep Guardiola and co ready for Premier League title party – kick-off time, team news and how to follow
Manchester City are Premier League champions once again and are ready to celebrate against Chelsea this weekend.
Pep Guardiola’s side didn’t have to kick a ball as Arsenal were beaten 1-0 by Nottingham Forest, ending the title race.
The Citizens have won 11 straight games in the Premier League, capitalising on Arsenal slipping up and sealing yet another top-flight trophy.
They are the first team since rivals Manchester United to win the title three seasons in a row, with the Red Devils achieving that feat between 2007 and 2010.
Man City are also in the FA Cup and Champions League finals, meaning, they are only two wins away from a historic treble.
Meanwhile, Chelsea need to win all of their remaining games to avoid a bottom-half finish for the first time since 1996.

Manchester City vs Chelsea: Team news
Man City dominated Real Madrid in the Champions League in midweek, securing themselves a place in the final in Istanbul.
But Guardiola is known for his rotation and despite the world class performance, he may decide to bench a couple of his players.
However, with one more win securing the Premier League title, a full strength line-up could be fielded to get the job done.
Only Nathan Ake is out injured for the Citizens.
As for Chelsea, Lewis Hall is likely to continue at left back with both Ben Chilwell and Marc Cucurella carrying knocks.
N’Golo Kante could miss the remaining two games of the season through injury, while fellow midfielder Mateo Kovacic may also be absent.
Mason Mount, Reece James and Armando Broja are all expected to remain sidelined for the rest of the campaign.
Benoit Badiashile has sustained a groin problem and will miss out.
Manchester City vs Chelsea: What has been said?
Man City boss Guardiola believes that his side can go on to win the treble this season.
He said: “We are there now and the players can think about it, visualise it. We are three games away. One in each competition. We can do it.
“We need to win one more game in the Premier League, then we have our neighbours in the Cup and a Champions League final against an Italian side.
“The pleasure of being there and playing against Inter Milan is incalculable and we are going to enjoy the occasion.”

- Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is one of only two managers to avoid defeat away at Manchester City in the Premier League this season, drawing 1-1 with Everton in December. The last manager to manage away at Man City twice in a single league campaign and avoid defeat in both was Gordon Lee in 1976-77, drawing with both Newcastle and Everton.
- Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne has only scored more Premier League goals against Arsenal (8) than he has against former side Chelsea (5), with those five goals being the most any player has scored against the Blues having previously played for them in the competition.
- Riyad Mahrez has scored four goals in Man City’s three games against Chelsea in all competitions this season, opening the scoring in each match. The last Man City player to score in four games against an opponent in a single season was Dennis Tueart against Norwich City in 1975-76.
- Since their last Premier League defeat in February against Spurs, Manchester City have trailed for just 10 minutes and 56 seconds in the league, doing so in the first half of an eventual 4-1 win over Liverpool in April. In total, City have trailed for 228 minutes in the Premier League this season, the fewest of any team.

- Since the start of last season, Chelsea have won none of their 14 Premier League games against sides starting the day above them in the table (D4 L10), losing each of their last three.

- Manchester City have won all three of their meetings with Chelsea in all competitions this season – the only side to beat the Blues four times in a single campaign are Manchester United, who did so in 2010-11.
- Since beating them 1-0 in the 2021 Champions League final, Chelsea have lost their last five meetings with Man City in all competitions without scoring a single goal. The last team they lost more consecutively against was Blackburn (7 between 1993 and 1996), while they’ve never lost six in a row against a team without scoring.
