Liverpool target likely to leave current club
Liverpool return to Premier League action when they face Brighton and Hove Albion after the international break.
Jurgen Klopp’s side had hoped to win an unprecedented quadruple this season but, having lifted the Carabao Cup last month, that dream was ended as they were knocked out of the FA Cup by rivals Manchester United last time out.
The Red Devils ran out 4-3 winners after extra-time in a thrilling encounter at Old Trafford, setting up a meeting with Coventry City in the semi-finals.
Liverpool remain firmly in the hunt for the Premier League title and Europa League, though, and they will hope to move a step closer to the top flight trophy with victory over the Seagulls on 31 March.
In the meantime, the Merseyside outfit may have been handed a transfer boost.
As per Football Insider, Fulham expect defender Tosin Adarabioyo to depart the club this summer.
The report claims that the central defender has attracted interest from the Reds, and Fulham expect it to be hard to keep hold of the player if he receives concrete offers from elsewhere.
The 26-year-old joined the Cottagers from Manchester City in 2020, having impressed for the Citizens’ youth sides and also made eight senior appearances while in Manchester.
Since moving to the capital, the centre-back has played 127 times for Fulham across all competitions.
Fulham are said to be pushing hard to keep the player at Craven Cottage, however his current deal expires at the end of the season and they could then be powerless to let him go.
Tottenham Hotspur are said to have attempted to sign the defender last year, and the report claims that the Lilywhites will likely renew their interest in him if he does become available at the end of the season.
