Liverpool in talks over Bundesliga midfielder
Liverpool will be hoping to record a third consecutive victory when they face Aston Villa on Sunday.
The Reds drew with Chelsea and beat Bournemouth in their opening two matches of the Premier League season, before staging a stunning comeback to defeat Newcastle United 2-1 on Sunday.
Jurgen Klopp now faces a number of difficult selection decisions ahead of the game against Villa, most notably in attack where Darwin Nunez is pushing for a start after his two-goal heroics against the Magpies last time out.
In the meantime, it appears that the Merseyside outfit are hoping to complete one more signing before the transfer window closes.
As per 90min, Liverpool are in talks with German side Bayern Munich over a potential move for midfielder Ryan Gravenberch.
The 21-year-old only joined Bayern from Dutch side Ajax last summer, but the report claims that he has made it clear that he wants to leave after just 12 months in Bavaria.
Gravenberch made 33 appearances across all competitions last season, scoring once and providing one assist.
The Netherlands international did help Bayern to win the Bundesliga title, but it appears that he has grown frustrated after starting just three league games last season and is now intent on leaving Munich.
The report claims that Liverpool have been interested in the player for the majority of the summer amid their search for midfield reinforcements.
James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita, Fabinho and Jordan Henderson have all departed Anfield this summer, and Klopp has therefore been keen to bolster his midfield ranks.
The Reds missed out on both Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia, who both instead joined Chelsea, but they have since signed Wataru Endo from German side Stuttgart.
Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel is reportedly happy for Gravenberch to leave the club this summer.
