UFC champion Israel Adesanya lauded the soccer star Achraf Hakimi for his witty move in a cryptic message. The New Zealander is taking his time off Octagon and basking in the glory as he recently triumphed over his rival Alex Pereira at the recently concluded UFC 287. Not only did he exact his revenge but also restored himself to the top of the middleweight division. Since then, ‘The Last Stylebender’ is keeping a keen eye on varied developments and one such incident related to PSG soccer club star Achraf Hakimi caught his attention.

The Morrocan soccer star is facing a difficult phase in his personal life as his matrimonial difference reached a breaking point. As a result, the couple sought the court’s aid to vitiate their marriage. However, amid the divorce proceedings, the 24-year-old soccer star might save a fortune due to a legal loophole.

Notably, Hakimi’s wife, Hiba Abouk, reportedly filed the divorce, and French magazine First Mag reported the actress demanded half of Hakimi’s assets and fortune. However, the court informed her, the soccer star owned nothing despite earning $1.10 million monthly.

The PSG star markedly registered all his property in his mother’s name. And as a result, she received 80% of her son’s earnings. Thus, saving his son indirectly from missing out on a fortune.

This prompted the UFC champion to praise for his smart chess move, as alluded to by his tweet.

Although the news caused a stir, Abouk has a fortune of her own as she is a popular face in Spanish TV series.

The 33-year-old champion is again on the lookout for a new challenge. However, his recent heated verbal exchange with the South African fighter suggests otherwise.

Adesanya, irked with previous comments by du Plessis, specified his intention to ‘whoop his as*’ during the post-fight interview at UFC 287.

Further, he added, “If he does work and I pray to God, he keeps winning. I will gladly drag his carcass across South Africa.”

‘Stillknocks’, in response, hit back with a firm statement. He expressed his fearlessness as he declared, “We are Africa we fear nothing.”

A potential showdown between the two fighters might take place later this year, as Adesanya had already cleaned up the division, especially the top-5 ranked fighters.
