Arsenal hoping to sign three Real Madrid players

Arsenal welcome Paris Saint-Germain to The Emirates on Tuesday night for the first leg of their Champions League semi-final.

The Gunners are set to finish as runners-up in the Premier League for a third consecutive season, with Liverpool needing a single point from their final five games to lift the title.

Mikel Arteta will therefore want his side to focus on the Champions League, a competition that the North London outfit have never won.

PSG will undoubtedly provide a tough test for Arsenal, though, with either Barcelona or Inter Milan awaiting the winner in the final.

Off the pitch, it has emerged that Arsenal are interested in three Real Madrid stars.

According to Spanish outlet Fichajes via GiveMeSport, the Gunners are plotting an audacious triple swoop for Rodrygo, Eduardo Camavinga and Arda Guler.

Guler has emerged as a surprise target for Arsenal

The report claims that Arteta and the club’s new sporting director, Andrea Berta, are hoping to bolster their squad during the upcoming summer window.

It is claimed that all three players are of interest to the Premier League side, however Real do not need to sell any first team stars this summer and deals could therefore be particularly tricky to pull off.

Camavinga is widely regarded as one of the finest young midfielders in Europe and has established himself as a regular in Carlo Ancelotti’s side over the past few seasons.

In total he has played 180 times for the Spanish giants across all competitions, but the report claims that Arsenal could make an audacious move to lure the Frenchman away from Madrid.

The Gunners could be set to lose both Jorginho and Thomas Partey at the end of the current campaign, and the report suggests that the club remain interested in Real Sociedad’s Martin Zubimendi.

Rodrygo, meanwhile, has a combined 118 goals and assists in 266 games for Real since joining the club in 2019.

Youngster Guler, however has struggled to force his way into Ancelotti’s starting line-up and has been heavily linked with a move away from the Spanish capital.
