Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle interested in Bundesliga Englishman
Arsenal sit second in the Premier League going into the international break, with only goal difference separating the Gunners from leaders Tottenham Hotspur.
The Gunners earned a superb 1-0 victory over reigning champions Manchester City last time out, with substitute Gabriel Martinelli scoring the only goal of the game at The Emirates.
The result left City third in the table, two points behind the two North London clubs.
In the meantime, Arsenal are reportedly set to battle it out with a Premier League rival for the signing of a Bundesliga youngster.
As per BILD via The Sun, both the Gunners and the Blues are interested in Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Bynoe-Gittens.
The 19-year-old left the Manchester City youth setup to move to Germany in 2020 and has since made 29 appearances for the club across all competitions.
He has scored three goals for Dortmund, as well as providing one assist.
Despite interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs, the attacker recently signed a new deal with Dortmund which is set to run until 2028.
That could suggest that the German club are unlikely to sell him anytime soon, but Bynoe-Gittens’ performances haven’t gone unnoticed and fellow Premier League side Newcastle United are also said to be interested in the player.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is said to be a huge admirer of the youngster, with the report claiming that the Spaniard sees ‘huge potential’ in the Englishman.
Bynoe-Gittens has been capped once by England at under-21 level, and has also represented his country at every age group from under-15s upwards.
