Arsenal and Man United told target is not for sale
Arsenal will hope to cut Liverpool’s lead at the top of the Premier League table to nine points by beating Fulham at the start of April.
A 1-0 win over Chelsea prior to the international break moved the Gunners to within 12 points of the runaway leaders, and Mikel Arteta’s side will have the chance to further reduce their advantage when they face the Cottagers.
This season has been another frustrating one for the North London side, who look set to finish as Premier League runners-up for the third consecutive campaign.
With that in mind, those in charge of the club could look to bolster Arteta’s squad during the upcoming summer transfer window.
It appears, though, that Arsenal will miss out on one of their targets.
According to TBR Football, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have been told that they should forget about a summer move for former Real Madrid youngster Nico Paz.
The report claims that the Gunners, Spurs, and Manchester United had all shown interest in the 20-year-old, who joined Italian side Como from Real last summer.
Real included a buy-back clause in the deal, though, as well as a sell-on percentage for the attacking midfielder.
Paz has scored six goals and provided the same number of assists in 27 games for Cesc Fabregas’ side so far this season, and his impressive performances have attracted interest from several clubs.
As well as the trio of Premier League sides, the report claims that fellow Italian side Inter Milan are also monitoring the player.
The report claims that Real Madrid have decided that the youngster will not leave Como this summer, with the Spanish side instead planning to re-sign the player in 2026.
