Ally’s Acca fixtures

  • Middlesbrough vs Coventry (3pm)
  • Falkirk vs Greenock Morton (3pm)
  • Liverpool vs Brighton (3pm)
  • Wolves vs Crystal Palace (5.30pm)

There are three 3pm games across three divisions to kick off the acca this weekend.

9th placed Boro host Coventry in a big Championship clash, where the hosts really do seem like they have the potential to aim for the top six.

It’s a long way to go of course though, and they could get past a Coventry side who have already lost six this season.

Up in Scotland, Falkirk are looking to run further away in the Scottish Championship as they lead by four points going into the weekend.

They take on Greenock Morton who are eighth of ten in the division and have lost three in their last five.

In the Premier League, Liverpool host Brighton at Anfield for another huge game that sees the Reds continuing to challenge City toward the top of the table.

Brighton are a tough side having only lost once all season but so have Liverpool.

The Reds are also on a long run unbeaten, winning four of their last five having drawn their latest league clash against Arsenal, which only confirmed their place towards the top of the table.

Later on in the Premier League it’s a huge relegation clash early on in the season with Wolves looking for their first win of the 2024/25 campaign.

Palace are struggling down in 17th too and they only just got their first win of the season at the weekend.

This could be the host’s chance to not only put a win on the board but also a run of games where they can get a few points with Southampton, Fulham, Bournemouth and Everton to play in succession.

A win would put them in the right direction and could give them the confidence needed to go on and get out of the relegation zone in a few matches.
