Snl24.com | New Inter Miami Coach Warns MLS After Messi & Busquets Arrival
Sergio Busquets and Lionel Messi have both signed for Inter Miami
New Inter Miami coach Gerardo Martino has sent a warning to the rest of the Major League Soccer following the arrivals of Lionel Messi and Sergio Busquets.
Martino was announced as the team’s new head coach this week, taking over from Phillip Neville who was sacked last month after a string of poor results.
The Argentine coach will reunite with Messi and Busquets, who he coached during his stint at the Camp Nou with Barcelona.

A lot of European-based players move to the MLS at the end of their careers, but Martino insists the duo are there to win things.
“I spoke to Leo and yesterday spoke to Sergio,’ Martino said at his first press conference, as per the Daily Mail.
“Sometimes people hear Miami they think holidays. But these two players are not coming here for a vacation, they are here to work and compete and win. That is in their blood.”
Martino added that the arrival of the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner in America will improve the league.
“That the best in the world decides to play in this league will help the growth. It is already growing, but the presence of Messi playing here in this league will surely make MLS better.”
