Europa Conference League Final Headlines This Week’s Soccer on TV

The quest to crown a new Europa Conference League champion comes to a conclusion on Wednesday when English Premier League side West Ham United takes on Serie A club Fiorentina in a winner-takes-all match.

After an underwhelming season for West Ham United and a heartbreak loss for Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia Final last week, both clubs will look to ease the pain with a shot of European glory.

The Hammers spent most of the season fighting relegation before avoiding the drop with a span of good form towards the end of the season, landing them in the lower half of the EPL table. However, David Moyes’ squad have found themselves in their first major European final for the first time since 1976.

Major League Soccer continues with two of the leagues most sought after clubs in Los Angeles FC and Atlanta United squaring off. After a historic start to the season, Atlanta United dropped to sixth place in the East due to a series of poor performances collecting six points in their last seven matches.

On the West Coast, The Black and Gold trail first place St. Louis CITY SC by three points and will look to bounce back following their defeat to Liga MX side Leon in the CONCACAF Champions League Final.

In Germany, the battle to stay in the Bundesliga rages on with VfB Stuttgart on the brink of safety. Die Rotten heads into a second-leg showdown with Hamburg holding a 3-0 lead on aggregate.

The FIFA U-20 World Cup also continues this week with semifinal action coming up from Argentina. Uruguay takes on Israel on one side of the bracket while Italy and South Korea do battle on the other side.
